WHAT IS IT?

The blood that circulates through our body contains different types of cells that circulate through our body to perform different functions. Among these cells are platelets, which are essential for tissue repair. We are going to take advantage of this quality that platelets have to improve the appearance of the skin, giving it a more luminous and hydrated appearance.

HOW DOES IT APPLY?

It is injected into the face or neck by injections with a very fine needle into the deep layers of the skin, where it activates the cells responsible for producing collagen (fibroblasts).

HOW IS IT OBTAINED?

The blood is obtained, as in any blood test, from the arm. That small amount of blood is then put into a device that separates our blood cells. Once separated, we only use the platelets and their growth factors, the rest is discarded.

WHERE CAN IT BE USED?

In principle, it can be put on the skin of the face, neck and décolleté.

IS ONE SESSION ENOUGH?

Normally, it is necessary to carry out 3 treatment cycles separated by between 2 and 4 weeks and do a booster treatment every 6 to 12 months to be able to enjoy the effects of this treatment.

HURTS?

The injection of these substances can be uncomfortable for some people, so a little anesthesia can be used on the skin through EMLA ointment.

HOW LONG DOES THE EFFECT LAST?

Depending on the area targeted and the amount of substance injected, the effect can last for months.

CAN I ASSORT OTHER AESTHETIC TREATMENTS?

Treatment with botulinum toxin can be combined on the same day without problem. In the case of other treatments, they can be brought forward or postponed depending on each case.

IT IS SAFE?

By using your own blood, there is no risk of disease transmission.

WHAT ARE THE MOST FREQUENT SIDE EFFECTS?

Normally, there will be a small inflammation of the skin in the area of ​​the injections that improves within minutes. Occasionally, a small hematoma or pain may occur at an injection site.
