Each surgical procedure requires specific postoperative care instructions that must be followed to ensure proper healing and optimal results. These do’s and don’ts will be explained to you clearly during your first and second consultations.
In the immediate postoperative period, we will schedule follow-up visits at our clinic to monitor your recovery and make sure everything is progressing well. Sutures are usually removed between the first and second week after surgery.
In some cases, additional measures are required—such as wearing a postoperative support band after breast surgery. Other common recommendations include lymphatic drainage massages, especially after liposuction or abdominoplasty, or the use of compression therapy.
Later, during the long-term postoperative follow-up, we will take photographs to evaluate the outcomes of the procedure and observe how your tissues are adapting over time.
