Each intervention requires specific measures that must be taken for postoperative rehabilitation. These dos and don’ts will be explained to you during the first and second visits.
During the immediate postoperative period we will review you in our office to verify that everything is going correctly. The stitches are usually removed between the 1st and 2nd week. Sometimes specific measures must be taken, such as the placement of a postoperative band in breast surgeries. Other common measures are lymphatic drainage, especially indicated in liposuctions or abdominoplasties, or pressotherapy.
Later, in the late postoperative period , we will take photos to analyze what we have achieved with the intervention and how our tissues are adapting.
