Dr. Guillermo Rodríguez

Graduated in Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid (1994–2000).
PhD in Medicine from the Autonomous University of Madrid, awarded on February 26, 2014, with the distinction of Sobresaliente Cum Laude.

He is a member of several prestigious medical societies:

  • SEDAR (Spanish Society of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Pain Therapy)
  • ESAIC (European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care)
  • EACTAIC (European Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care)

He completed his specialty training in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation at the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón (June 2002 – June 2006).

In July 2014, he earned the European Certification in Transesophageal Echocardiography, accredited by the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging, the European Society of Cardiology, and the European Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesiologists.

He has also participated in postgraduate teaching, training residents in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, as well as residents from other specialties rotating through the department.

Currently, and since December 18, 2006, Dr. Eduardo Sánchez Pérez has been working as a Consultant Specialist (Facultativo Especialista de Área) in the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón. Since October 2007, he has worked with a special focus in the Cardiac Surgery Area and the Postoperative Cardiac Surgery Care Unit (UCP).

From July 3 to December 17, 2006, he worked as a Consultant Specialist in the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal, in both the Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Department and the Liver Transplant Team.

He has also collaborated continuously with various private clinics in Madrid since completing his specialization, covering a wide range of surgical and non-surgical specialties.

He completed his residency in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón from June 2002 to June 2006.
